Ahhhh, hello!! (and happy September 1st?? What in the world…??!?)
I feel such a sense of relief to be writing to you all again. I took, to my surprise, a much needed break from blogging in the past three weeks.
In case you didn’t know, I have been travelling through Europe for the past three weeks with my best friend, and I’ve got to say, it was one of the best 3 weeks I have ever had. The world has so much beauty to offer, and man do I ever urge you to go explore it if you haven’t already.
I thought the summer would offer me so much time to blog, and in all honesty, it was feeling a lot more like a burden. I never really felt like sitting in front of my computer, and the motivation it took to write to you was sometimes harder to muster then I care to admit.
Don’t get me wrong, I always felt so proud of the finished product of my blog posts and never published anything I didn’t truly want to share. I just felt detached, and these past three weeks have helped me miss my blog, and all of you readers.
Today is a short and sweet post, just to let you all know that I am here! I’m thinking of making a 4 part series about my trip over the next month, a post for every country I went to, intertwined with my regular food related blog posts. Of course, my trip posts will obviously include food, how could they not??
I am also starting my last official semester of classes next week and I have never been so excited to see my education finally wrapping up! The next year after this fall will be internships and I am looking forward to that like crazy.
I am 100% not ready for school though, I actually haven’t unpacked my backpack since last semester….
but anyhow, how are you?? Is school starting soon for you too? If not, how’s work?
I’m dying to know how all of YOU are doing.
